If you love your smartphones as much as we do, you’ll be really excited about the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+.
So let’s get into what the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ have to offer.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ boasts an impressive camera. Both the S9 and S9+ have rear 12MP (dual lens for S9+) and F1.5/2.4, front 8MP cameras. The dual aperture adjusts automatically to bright light and super low light, so whether you’re taking a selfie in the sun or snapping a pic of your food in a dimly lit restaurant, you can be pretty confident you’ll have an Instagram worthy photo.
The S9 and S9+ has slow motion functionality (like the Galaxy S8 and S8+) and the all new Super Slow-mo. You can now make a GIF in three different ways: looping: reverse, forward, or swing. You can also set your slow-mo video as your lock screen screensaver.
Arguably the most fun of all the new features is the ability to create personalised emojis. Augmented Reality Emoji's are Samsung’s answer to Apple's Animoji feature on the iPhone X, where you can send animojis using facial recognition.
Simply explained it’s a personalised, animated bitmoji, so you can create your very own avatar that not only looks like you but has your gestures. To create one, you use the front camera to record to create your AR avatar.
With full frontal glass, the edge to edge screen gives you a 6.2” screen for the S9+ and 5.8” for the S9.

The S9 gives you the same capacity as the Galaxy S8. The Galaxy S9 has a 3000mAh battery and the S9+ has the larger 3500mAh battery. The smartphone also gives you Quick charge 2.0. so you can use your phone for longer without constantly needing to connect to a charger.
Bixby has grown up too with the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. With the new camera you can now translate from different languages from things like signs, menus and directions, so grab your Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+ and suitcase and get exploring.
Using its camera, the S9 can automatically translate phrases, words, menus or street signs. It requires an internet connection to do this, but the technology means you will need never feel out of place trying to navigating abroad.
