OPPO Find X2 Pro Review

This year we’ve been pretty spoilt for choice when it comes to smartphones. And now OPPO has released a new phone that competes with the best of them - Introducing the OPPO Find X2 Pro.

Our Friends at OPPO sent us the Find X2 Pro to play with and see how it works in everyday life. Here’s what we found.

First impressions were very good. Even the box it comes in looks great! Upon opening the box we found the elegant Black Ceramic version (it also comes in the sleek Orange Vegan Leather). The Find X2 Pro comes with a complimentary transparent phone cover, earphones and Super VOOC charger with yellow jacks - nice touch OPPO.
 

 

 

 

 

OPPO Find X2 Pro Design & Display

The Find X2 Pro is an impressive looking phone. One of the first things you'll notice is the clean design with it's curved edges. With a screen size of 6.7 inches, its just a little bigger than the Reno2 Z at 6.5 inches. The Black Ceramic has a polished finish, so silky and smooth it could almost double as a mirror.

The display on this phone is excellent! It's Ultra Vision Screen has a 120Hz refresh rate, meaning it can refresh 120 times every second. The large screen makes streaming video content a joy to watch. The 3K QHD+ (Quad High Definition) gives lots of clarity, so you'll be able to see every detail of what you're watching.

OPPO Find X2 Pro Camera

We're always excited to check out what features the camera has when OPPO brings out a new smartphone. If you're familiar with previous OPPO or Android phones, you'll be able to navigate the Find X2 Pro easily. With our new phone in hand, we headed outside to the park to test it out. Check out the Slow-Mo feature in our video.

The OPPO Find X2 Pro camera also comes with 10X Zoom, Night Mode, Stickers, Time-Lapse and Google Lens to name a few. 

Tech-wise the Find X2 Pro delivers the goods with 3 rear cameras: 48MP wide-angle lens camera, 48MP ultra-wide angle lens and 13MP telephoto lens. The front camera is a 32MP selfie camera. So you can capture the content you want, however you want.

And with Ultra Night Mode 3.0 you'll be snapping pictures and video day and night.

Google Lens

This feature makes browsing online fun. Once you enable Google Lens, you can take a picture of something and your phone will search google for similar items.

Clone your old phone

OPPO makes it simple to bring your apps to your new phone with the 'Clone your phone' feature. You'll receive a prompt when you turn on your new phone. Just select your old phone type and follow the prompts.
