Important changes to the Woolworths Global Roaming Data SIM Services
We are making some changes to the Woolworths Global Roaming Data SIM Services (“Data SIM Services”) and the associated customer Terms and Conditions.
Why are we making these changes?
Due to the impact of the COVID 19 Pandemic and other factors affecting global travel services, we are no longer selling the Woolworths Global Roaming Data SIM. The Data SIM Services will terminate on 30 September 2020 and we have updated the Woolworths Global Roaming Service Terms and Conditions accordingly.
What does this mean for me?
You will no longer be able to use the Global Roaming Data SIM after 30 September 2020. However, you can continue to use your Data SIM and any data bundles you have purchased, while you are in Australia or if you are overseas, up until that date.
Normal SIM and Data Bundle expiry dates and Terms and Conditions will apply up until the Data SIM Services terminates.
Can I still purchase Data Bundles before the service closes?
You can continue to purchase Data Bundles from the online portal until 30 July 2020. After that date, Data Bundles will no longer be available for purchase. Please note that 3GB data bundles have a 60 day expiry so a bundle purchased on 30 July 2020 can still be used until 28 September 2020.
I have not activated my SIM yet - can I get a refund?
If you have not activated your SIM, you can apply for a refund by following the instructions in the Woolworths Global Roaming Service Terms and Conditions that can be found here.
Please note, from 20th June, 2020, per our updated Terms and Conditions, we will require a proof of purchase to be provided such as a purchase receipt, so that we can refund you the correct amount. Please find the new Terms and Conditions here.
You need to claim any unactivated SIM refunds before 30 October 2020. After this date unactivated SIM refunds will no longer be available.
